History
Barshi Shikshan Prasarak Mandal , Barshi was established in 1954 to spread the education in and
outside Barshi.
Sanstha is a pioneer academic institution which has glorious history of more than four decades. The main mission of the Mandal is to nurture, promote and encourage the value-based education.
Mandal has been catering to the educational, economic, social-psychological and cultural needs of the society with its motto “सा विद्या या विमुक्तये” i.e. it is knowledge which enlightens us and education which liberates us from this materialistic world.
Keeping in pace with need of the time to provide quality education to all Mandal offers education from K.G. to P.G. covering streams of Arts, Science, Management and Education. Today thousands of students strive to seek admission in our institutes run by our Mandal, on account of values ingrained in the mission of the Mandal.
Shriman Bhausaheb Zadbuke Mahavidylaya
The Shriman Bhausaheb Zadbuke Mahavidylaya, Barshi College is affiliated to Solapur University,
Solapur which was established in 1969. College offers wide range of subject choices in Arts and
Science faculty at undergraduate level. In its continuous commitment to provide an encouraging
learning environment, SBZ has its own campus and It is spread over an area of 11 acres.campus
premises, includes spacious classrooms, workshop rooms, seminar hall and auditorium, equipped
with audiovisual aids.
